  1. This is the initial release of SMEHTM (the Smalled HTML Extensions)
  2. This application converts MLE based editors like Smalled, ZED and
  3. e.exe (system editor) in full fletched HTML editors.

  5. If you like SMEHTM it can be registered through the Register page in
  6. the SMEHTM program. You may use SMEHTM free for a trial period og 40
  7. Days. For unregistered versions, the LINK page will be disabled after
  8. 40 days. Besides that a dialog box will show for 10 seconds every
  9. time you start SMEHTM.

  11. SMEHTM is originaly written for Smalled but will work with other MLE
  12. based editors. If you like SMEHTM, please consider buying it with
  13. Smalled in one package ($25 for this combined package).

  19. === INSTALLING SMEHTM ====
  20. SMEHTM is mainly 2 files (this file can be discarded) an .exe and a
  21. .hlp file. You can copy the SMEHTM.EXE file to any place you like and
  22. start it from there. The .hlp file must be in OS/2 help directory so
  23. that it can be found by all SMEHTM instances.

  25. There are two versions included. An exe for OS/2 2.xx and a smaller,
  26. faster exe file for WARP. The os2_2xx.zip contains the SMEHTM.exe for
  27. OS/2 2.xx and the warp.zip contains the SMEHTM.exe for warp.

  29. After you've copied the neccesary files, please read the help pages
  30. 'Using the Smalled HTML Extensions' and 'Config'. They contain
  31. information about completing the initial setting.

  67.           ====REGISTERING====
  68. After 40 days SMEHTM will shut down theLINK page. To unlock it you
  69. need to register. To register, you first need to produce a personal
  70. key through the register page. Include this key if you register
  71. SMEHTM. (See oder.smh). You will recieve a registration-key. With
  72. this key SMEHTM will unlock and the dialog box at startup won't be
  73. displayed. This also permits you to use future 1.xx versions. Future
  74. versions will see that you're registered and won't lockup. More help
  75. on this issue is included in the help attached to the register page.

  77. To obtain a registration key send the personal key along with the
  78. registration form.

  80. WARNING: Resetting the date may cause SMEHTM to lock up before your
  81. trial period is over!

  110. Smalled HTML Extensions will turn editors
  111. like Smalled and e.exe into complete HTML
